was started by a DARE officer who taught DARE to 5th grade students for 20 years. When he began losing students to Heroin overdoses, he decided to start educating and empowering people about the dangers of today's Heroin and the problem with Prescription Drugs. This presentation is not just given to our youth, but to teachers, administrators, and parents, as well.
Our Mission
Our mission in this project is to spread the word about the dangers associated with Heroin and Opioid abuse It is incumbent upon us as a society to ensure that our youth understand the problems associated with Heroin use and that our legal system recognizes these addictions as well. We are not going to arrest away this problem. Knowledge is power and we hope to bring forth the knowledge necessary for parents, teachers, and students to recognize another's struggles and/or prevent the start of the struggles associated with Heroin and Opioid addiction.
